Teenagers are easily distracted when doing things that are of no interest to them. Just because technology is a new love for this generation doesn't mean it should consume every aspect of their lives.

Agreeing with the old saying “If it’s not broke, don’t break it”, previous generations have made it through schooling using textbooks alone and still managed to graduate with outstanding achievements and honors. 

While technology is a good tool to assist teachers and textbooks; to completely rule out paper textbooks in the classroom setting isn't the smartest decision.
